Overview:

Columbus Community Hospital is seeking a detail?oriented SPD Buyer to support day?to?day purchasing operations for hospital supplies. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, placing stock and non?stock orders, tracking backorders, resolving vendor and invoice discrepancies, processing returns, and coordinating closely with SPD Techs to ensure timely and accurate supply availability.

Shifts:

37.5 hrs/wk; 8a-3:30p, 5 days/wk.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, basic computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office), and a commitment to customer service in a fast?paced healthcare environment. This role requires the ability to perform regular standing, walking, lifting, and material handling, as well as a valid driver’s license. High School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred. 2-3 years experience operating in a fast-paced, high volume organization required.
