The Procurement Manager exists to manage contracts, the procurement process, inventory management, and supervise Purchasing and Accounts Payable staff for both Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College. This position exists to ensure the policies and procedures related to these areas are up-to-date and followed
Salary Range:
$27.24/hour-$39.54/hour
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing, or other related field, including preparing and executing contracts, leases.
Knowledge of contract negotiation, contract management, and contract amendments.
One (1) year of combined lead work, supervisor or management/leadership experience leading a diverse team.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders encountered while performing job duties.
Ability to develop and recommend improvements in work procedures and forms by applying knowledge of accounting procedures as well as basic accounting principles and practices.
Ability to track numerous projects and tasks simultaneously across both colleges, adapt to change, and to make decisions independently.
Preferred Qualification
Familiarity with purchasing and contract management software, ERP systems, and archive and retrieval systems.
Experience working with state or institutional regulations and policies in a college or university setting.
Ability to interpret and apply policies related to contracts, the procurement process, and inventory management in accordance with Federal and State laws and college policies.
Ability to deliver service adhering to company standards and explain policies and procedures to internal and external customers and de-escalate complex customer issues to reach resolution.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) is a multi-campus institution and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The Coon Rapids Campus is located on the banks of the Mississippi River twentymiles north of downtown Minneapolis. The Cambridge Campus is located on west Highway 95 on the Rum River in Cambridge. Beginning in 1965 with 600 students in a wing of Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Anoka-Ramsey Community College has grown considerably. In 1967 the college moved to the current Coon Rapids Campus of approximately 103 acres. The Cambridge Campus opened in 1978 and has shown consistent growth in enrollment and facilities. In addition, students may complete many ARCC college courses at convenient off-site locations throughout neighboring communities. During the 2008-2009 academic year, more than 11,000 students completed credit classes at the college.
