Essential Job Duties: This full-time, non-tenure-track position will primarily involve teaching Supply Chain courses in the undergraduate program, with a focus on supply chain management and operations, or related courses.
In this role you will be get to engage undergraduate students in both large lecture settings and traditional and/or online learning environments, demonstrating expertise in operations and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
Teach four class sections (12 credit hours) per semester, typically 1-3 sections for each course.
Participate in department and college service activities.
Develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Department Head.
Contributing member of the Department and College faculty.
We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our IT, Analytics, and Operations (ITAO) Department and contribute to the academic success of our undergraduate students.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Other Required Qualifications:
Significant knowledge and work experience in supply chain management and operations management are required.
Prior knowledge and work experience in IT and/or analytics would be a plus.
Strong commitment to excellence in teaching expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of high-quality university-level teaching in operations and supply chain management through, for example, teaching evaluations and letters of recommendation.
Statement or other evidence of a commitment to academic excellence.
An MBA and significant operations and supply chain management experience are desirable.
Also desirable is evidence of high-quality teaching through, for example, teaching evaluations and letters of recommendation.
Previous teaching experience in online courses is also preferred.
