Position Summary The Buyer reports to the Director of Supply Chain, and is a critical support of our supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution functions throughout the organization.  They work cross-departmentally on initiatives such as vendor qualification, developing new sourcing opportunities, and supporting product launch activities. Work closely with the department manager to lead projects related to outsourcing, production schedule optimization and product supply-smoothing.  This position will achieve key KPI’s goals related to COG’s, inventory carry and customer order fill rate.
