Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing a fair and transparent centralized procurement program used by Oakland County departments and countywide elected officials in accordance with Oakland County’s Purchasing Policies and Procedures Manual, Board of Commissioner’s resolutions, and state and federal laws. Proactively seeks opportunities to provide goods and services at the best value while stimulating vendor participation in the County’s procurement process. Provides purchasing expertise to county departments and elected officials, as well as to cities, villages and townships when requested. Prepares and oversees the contracts for professional services and commodities. Ensures the contract scope will provide the procurement of the desired goods and services
