Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the RDC network inventory. The role will evaluate and execute daily inventory reconciliation with IT Systems to 3PL Systems, in a vendor managed inventory environment. The Supply chain manager will be an essential position in implementing, and monitoring procedures to ensure that the proper inventory is in all warehouse locations. The position will assist management in the development and implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. In addition, this position will be responsible for vendor managed inventory located in regional warehouses.
Oversee and coordinate the vendor owned inventory located in regional warehouses.
Evaluate and optimize an inventory plan to avoid stock outs and minimize preference changes
Lead cross-functional meetings to address capability health and issue resolution
Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement solutions
Analyze and recommend adjusted replenishment parameters proactively to meet turn and availability goals;
Communicate issues, progress and results for the program.
Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
Analyze and report on inventory activity to identify key areas of action.
Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
Work with key resources to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
Identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level as needed.
Determine Baseline monthly Inventory Variations and create an ongoing improvement plan to ensure we are reducing the variation over time
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business
Minimum three years’ experience in a Tier One ERP environment (i.e. Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.), JD Edwards Enterprise One experience a plus
Minimum three years’ experience in ERP Distribution modules (SO, PO, Inventory & Manufacturing)
Prior experience in ERP financial modules a plus
Logical, process oriented thinker with the ability to understand fully the impact of decisions
Well organized, accustomed to working under tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects
Advanced personal computer and MS Office skills including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills; proven ability to work in a team environment
Excellent leadership skills
Highly accurate and attention to detail; good decision making skills
Skilled at problem solving and critical thinking
Interact with all levels within SCM, Finance, DBU, NAC and IT in executing Job Components. Interact with suppliers in executing Job Components. Subject matter expert for Legacy processes (EOne).
Will handle highly sensitive data including company confidential information and external partner company confidential data.
