Supply Chain Planner III (2000325) - Research Triangle Park, NC
Where the Chemistry Happens
As the Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating the supply planning processes for the business. You will identify opportunities to improve these processes and well as recommendations to improve service level, inventory and cost.
You will drive reduction of dysfunctional inventory, participate and proactively manage new product introduction processes, while identifying and executing opportunities to improve supply chain and operations efficiency.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education and experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or a related business function, you will convert demands into Master Production Planning/Scheduling. You will also ensure that forecast, customer orders and internal demands are met effectively, while optimizing the utilization of inventories and operational resources.
Collaborating effectively, you will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure production requirements can be met.
Your problem-solving ability will serve you well as you monitor adherence to the plan and work with plants to resolve any issues that arise.
Your strong communication skills and ability to lead cross functional discussions will be essential as you proactively provide product supply status to business teams and other functional groups within Supply Chain/Operations, and act as a liaison between various departments and other regions.
Utilizing your robust analytical skills, you will perform on-going inventory management analysis and processes to optimize APN inventory levels.
Your keen attention to detail will be a valued asset as you identify key trends that affect production and inventory and implement processes to monitor the impact of the trends on average inventory.
Demonstrating your computer proficiency, particularly in MS Excel data mining; including pivot tables, v-lookups, report creation, and graphing (ERP/SAP experience preferred), you will maintain APO SNP and MRP set up and uploads to support the monthly planning process.
