We are seeking a professional like you for our Supply Chain Planner position within the BASF Petrochemicals business unit. As a valuable team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful master planning, finite planning, raw material purchasing and operations at one of BASF's growing sites. We are seeking an individual like you who embraces a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to identify and adopt digital improvements to our planning and logistics processes. You will actively maintain and promote a "safety first" approach regarding all work activities. This role will provide you a unique development opportunity to have a hand in all aspects of planning, site logistics, continuous improvement and digitalization.
As the key central point of contact for both daily supply chain operations and long-term strategic optimization, you will work in close collaboration with our manufacturing, marketing, quality, customer care and logistics teams. Utilization of SAP(S4/HANA), Integrated Business Planning (OMP+) and other digital tools which are used for current processes will be the focus of future implementations. Leveraging your knowledge, experiences and network for supply chain excellence, you will help ensure a customer first and continuous improvement mindset in delivering services and supply reliability.

Formula for Success
Acting with a customer and business focus, you will develop and implement the monthly S&OP strategy in support of inventory targets and manufacturing efficiencies for manufactured materials.
Demonstrating your production knowledge and keen attention to detail, you will lead, develop, and maintain the daily production schedule by product, quantity and timing that aligns with the monthly master production schedule.
Your ability to communicate and negotiate across the functions, regions and throughout various levels in the organization will be essential as you identify, negotiate, and bring to resolution any supply/demand imbalances by working with supply chain, marketing, technical, sales, production and customer service and make necessary adjustments in the master schedule.
Your strong organizational skills will aid you in managing inventory levels throughout the supply chain at different remote locations, consistent with plasticizer business goals and customer service needs.
Working independently, you will be responsible for raw material planning and purchasing of all raw materials that support the Cornwall production schedule. This includes purchase order execution and issue resolution in a complex, multi-source and global raw material supply.
Leveraging your experience with SAP S4/HANA and OMP plus, you will be the supply chain focal point in support of their implementation.
Acting as a digital champion for the petrochemicals supply chain team, you will extract value from our existing tools, seeking and implementing new tools and methods to bring value and efficiency to the business.
Promoting and leading continuous improvement initiatives, you will identify, implement and sustain process improvements in order to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency across all petrochemical sites.
