Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning and forecasting process of some business units to drive production, capacity planning, distribution planning and raw material procurement. This includes use of software tools (SAP, APO, Microsoft Office etc) to generate forecast, generating and tracking forecast accuracy metrics and facilitating demand validation meetings with Marketing, Product Management and Sales to support the individual business S&OP processes. This position should also be able to help with other projects and processes in the Supply Chain area.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline and your work experience in a supply chain planning related function, you will lead the demand planning process of certain business units, collaborate with various business functions, and take ownership of the integrity of demand forecast.
Demonstrating your knowledge in and experience using software tools, including SAP R/3, SAP APO DP, and MS Office applications, you will facilitate the monthly demand validation process utilizing SAP-APO Demand Planning functionality. This includes managing customer forecast, generating and publishing demand related metrics that drive supply planning, capacity planning and raw material procurement, and also have impact on inventory value.
Your sound understanding of demand planning processes and familiarity with statistical forecasting methods will be a valued asset as you manage the end-to-end forest planning of some industry segments and some global business units. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the Demand Planning master data for your assigned business units.
Communicating effectively across the business, you will serve as the primary point of contact regarding all demand related inquiries for areas of responsibility. Additionally, you will manage a proactive business communication process that ensures visibility and transparency amongst all key stakeholders.
