Description: Position Summary: This position is responsible for the facility and equipment maintenance supporting safety, cost, quality, service and regulatory compliance. The ideal person will be skilled in planning and managing large maintenance staff to achieve annual business plan and budget. Requires the ability to develop staff, solve problems and implement solutions. Must possess a working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems. Must independently oversee and effectively manage multiple initiatives. Staff to manage includes 1 supervisor, and 11 maintenance technicians. Shift: Day shift. Facility is 24/7. Address: 5801 Kroger Dr., Keller, TX 76244 Major Responsibilities: -Manage PSM / RMP program at facility -Manage preventative maintenance program on building and MHE -Participate in developing and manage to budgeted expense levels. Work with General Manager to develop annual capital budgets for facility maintenance and improvement -Ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety policies within the maintenance department -Responsible for ensuring compliance with, and maintaining comprehensive records regarding, all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements including, but not limited to, OSHA, HAZMAT and Fire Safety. -Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve plant maintenance service performance. -Oversees purchasing activity, ensuring best possible price, performance, and supply solutions are secured. Negotiate pending equipment issues to meet company objectives. Ensure that company policies and procedures are used regarding purchasing and contracts. -Support other departments in various plant inspections such as American institute of baking (AIB) -Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve plant maintenance service performance. -Other projects as assigned by the managerPlease just type a few bullets of the job duties for your position Qualifications: Requirements: -Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business - highly preferred. -Must be knowledgeable and experienced with Ammonia Refrigeration systems and PSM. -Familiar with food safety, food process equipment and regulations. -Familiar with emergency preparedness and emergency response plans and procedures. -Must be familiar with regulatory and safety codes including USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations. -Strong and effective management and supervisory skills are required, including planning, organizing, communicating, influencing, gathering and using information, and motivating a team to achieve results. -Must be computer literate and experienced with predictive/preventive maintenance software. -Ability to respond to emergencies and work under pressure. -Sense of urgency and excellent responsiveness regarding down time is critical. -Ability to work independently. -Ability and willing to work flexible hours and changing priorities. -Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
