This role with report to the Director of Materials Management and has broad ranging experience in Inventory Management, Planning, Receiving, Delivery, and Mail Services. Is responsible for providing support that ensures the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved through the development and implementation of supply chain initiatives.
Document business processes and workflows.
Capture process business requirements and develop standards to streamline consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness
Examine current processes and drive continuous improvement projects sought at improving service and eliminating waste
Focus on physical operations and supply chain management improvements including distribution, logistics planning and optimization, inventory management, backorder management and phase in/out of new products
Analyze problems and build resolutions at both a strategic and functional level with validated ability to analyze complex problems and provide simple solutions
Drive content format and consistency with Supply Chain policies and procedures
Plan, coordinate and implement supply chain projects
Track all project activity through a project dashboard and present to leadership as requested
Support and collaborate on inventory management, logistics and distribution systems functionality and improvement
Develop, maintain and monitor critical metrics, including building dashboards, actionable reports and monitoring activities.
Bachelors degree in any Business discipline, Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering; Masters degree preferred
7-10 years in a supply management role with experience in Materials Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Forecasting preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, Certification of Proficiency in Business Analysis, CMRP and prior Healthcare experience preferred
