Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Supply Chain and Logistics, Department of Marketing and Business Information Systems, William G. Rohrer College of Business, Rowan University, 10 month full-time tenure track position.
The Supply Chain and Logistics Program at Rowan offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain and Logistics as well as a Supply Chain/Logistical Systems Concentration in the MBA program. The program is housed in the 850 student Department of Marketing and Business Information Systems, which also offers Bachelor of Science Degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems, as well as a range of undergraduate minors and additional MBA concentrations.
As a College and Department, we are committed to curricular innovation, and have recently introduced new course offerings in the area of technology, data and analytics. We have a strong program of professional development for our students, welcome teaching innovations, and have excellent ties to the regional professional community. Faculty research is strongly supported through generous travel funds, and a wealth of databases and state-of-the-art software packages.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Supply Chain Management/Logistics; maintaining an active research agenda in a related area and in support of quality teaching; participating in assurance of learning activities; engaging actively in department, college, university, professional, and outreach activities, and mentoring of students.
Teaching assignments will include undergraduate and graduate courses in a traditional classroom format as well as online delivery. Candidates with an interest in the supply chain strategy are particularly encouraged to apply, but all areas of specialization are welcomed. Teaching assignments are likely to include Global Supply Chain and Strategic Supply Chain Management.
Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management/Logistics by August 31, 2020 from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. Proven excellence as a teacher and demonstrated potential as a researcher are preferred. Prior experience in graduate and online teaching is desirable as is relevant experience in a business setting.

In addition to the Department of Marketing and Business Information Systems, the Rohrer College of Business also includes the Department of Accounting and Finance, and the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. Significant enrollment growth has been experienced in Supply Chain and Logistics as well as across the Rohrer College of Business and Rowan University. We expect continued strong enrollment at all levels. The Rohrer College of Business moved into a new, state-of-the-art building in January 2017. The College is AACSB accredited, and its MIS program is ABET accredited.

The Philadelphia International Airport is a hub of American Airlines and offers 99 domestic and 39 international non-stop destinations.
