In this individual contributor role, you will be part of the Shared Services Indirect Procurement (SSIP) organization and will be responsible for supporting other BRM’s in their day-to-day category management responsibilities.
Serves as the AR stakeholder liaison for Shared Services Indirect Procurement activities across CapEx & Construction, Facilities & Site Services, Corporate and Professional Services and Information Technology Services categories.
Works heavily with AR’s 3rd party outsource provider for all Shared Services Indirect Procurement activities, including Category Management, Sourcing and contract execution as well as other 3rd party outsource providers.
Be the subject matter expert on contracts pertaining to outsourced 3rdparty arrangement, including terms and conditions, financial provisions, roles and responsibilities and all supporting documents.
Be a key participant in various category projects, provide status on supplier performance, and facilitate problem resolution activities.
Participate in Corporate and Professional Services category planning, provide status on supplier performance, and facilitate problem resolution activities.
Requires a Bachelor's degree required plus minimum of 6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Category Management experience in one or more of the following categories: CapEx & Construction, Facilities & Site Services, Corporate and Professional Services or Information Technology Services is preferred.
Experience in a in a 3rd party outsourcing function that included accountability for complex tasks and/or projects required for successful execution is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in contract formulation.
Prior experience in negotiating and analyzing contracts along with knowledge of vendor performance metrics preferred.
Ability to influence others and be a key contributor or leader on all category specific project teams.
Contract negotiation and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation, organizational, interpersonal communication, and analytical skills required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of other Microsoft Office products.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
