Support the supply chain organization by extracting, sorting and analyzing purchasing and supplier data, identifying trends and providing recommendations based on the data.
Monitor and provide updates on key metrics, and assists in the creation of new metrics that help drive supply chain strategies.
Support the decision making process by providing data based recommendations.
Work with the team members within Supply Chain, as well as other organizations and sites to gather information.
Support the team by assisting in the creation of material forecasts.
Support organizational improvement projects as a lead or in a project management capacity, creating and statusing project plans.
Support the creation of standard work, work instructions, and procedures for the Supply Chain group.
Support follow up evaluations on prior initiatives, agreements, and reports status and recommended actions to make the events more successful.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Office procedures and equipment, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer systems and applicable software applications to prepare spreadsheets, reports, statistical data, and correspondence.
Basic accounting principles and practices.
Applicable business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services.
Safety rules and regulations.
Purchasing principles, procedures, and terminology.
Lean, 6 Sigma, Process Improvement, Identification of waste.
Evaluate large amounts of data, identify trends, provide recommendations.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Work in a cross functional atmosphere and communicate clearly to executive leadership.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Maintain accurate records and controls.
Develop and execute plans and strategies.
Lead continuous improvement activities.
Operate computer systems and related software.
Work Independently with little oversight.
