The SRS controls the amount of work and priority of work on the warehouse floor. Coordinates the activity on inbound and outbound loads with warehouse and transportation personnel for the FDC.
This is a 2nd Shift position.
Job responsibilities may include:
-Working from a variety of documents (forms, schedules, lists) input data into computer to create new records or documents (via scanner) or to update existing information for department records.
-Analyze and process documents - review/check for accuracy, copy and add additional data as appropriate, route.
-Accurately stage and sort products for loading. Ability to operate a pallet jack and other required mechanical equipment.
-Comply with all safety requirements including maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring all training objectives are met and done in a timely manner.
-Follow-up with other departments or customers/vendors to resolve discrepancies, obtain more or missing information.
-Report and backfill support for Sr. Operations Supervisor. Backfill for other clerical needs/employees
-Maintain files pertinent to area of operation.
-Conform to Internal Control, ISO-9001, ISO 14001, QMS, EMS programs etc.
-Trailer inventory control including opening and closing trailer doors
-Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. boxes
-Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly activity/summary reports as required.
-Comply with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations.
-Continue to enhance knowledge of job related operations.
-Assist with other clerical duties as required to meet departmental objectives.
-Perform other duties as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
2 years of general office experience required
1 year of customer service experience required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
EMW and SAP experience preferred
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
