As the Product Marketing Specialist in the Petrochemicals business unit, you will be responsible for capturing and reporting business KPI's, analyzing sales and market data, and documenting and executing critical pricing and related business activities. You will support the development of the assigned products through the implementation of new product launches, market intelligence and tactical marketing activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing support of product management activities and backing up the Product Manager. You will work effectively in cross-functional teams to ensure that any changes or issues related to the product line are overseen through completion. You will also work cooperatively with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Logistics, as well as corporate functions such as Customer Care to ensure optimal positioning and utilization of the assigned product(s) across all market segments.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Your solid user skills with Microsoft office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, along with your experience in SAP or similar enterprise software, will be essential as you capture and report business KPIs.
Demonstrating your strong business and financial analysis skills, you will g enerate monthly sales reports and analyze market/product activity. Additionally, you will use these skills to monitor and report on key import/export statistics and analyze market influences.
Working as a team player, you will assist, support, and act as back-up to the Product Manager.
Collaborating effectively, you will coordinate with Sales to ensure all customer quotes are accurately entered and pricing files are maintained.
Your strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills will serve you well as you m anage the Co-Product business, including inside sales of the product line
Leveraging your education in Business Administration or a similar business discipline combined with your professional experience in marketing, sales, economics, customer care, supply chain or financial analysis, you will r esearch and clear all price discrepancies and support monthly revenue reports.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will serve as the primary business liaison with Customer Service.
