In this role, here is how you will make a real impact:
Serve as the site leader providing both strategic and tactical direction for the purchasing, planning and warehouse teams.
Drive performance on key purchasing KPI’s including on time delivery, quality, PPV, and other supplier score card metrics.
Drive performance on key planning KPI’s including customer service level, days on hand, inventory turns, excess/obsolete inventory, backlog resolution, etc. Also, establish optimal inventory levels (Raw, WIP, and FG) and manage inventory master data and planning parameters to achieve optimal balance between service level objectives and financial inventory goals.
Drive performance on key warehouse/distribution KPI’s including inventory accuracy, freight cost containment, distribution channel strategies, etc.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including S&OP and Manufacturing Operations leadership and communicate regularly regarding forecast concerns, resource requirements planning, back order resolution, and other issues that impact manufacturing.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, preferred.
APICS or ISM certification (CPIM, CSCP or equivalent), highly desirable
10+ years' experience in Supply Chain or related activities to include 3+ years of leadership experience and at least 1 year of multi-site experience.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and deliver tactical results through people and parties not in direct reporting lines, and effectively work through cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with a solid track record of developing positive customer relationships.
Highly detail oriented with strong statistical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
