Position Value The Project Manager – Connected Supply Chain will work with the Supply Chain leadership team to develop and implement new technologies, processes, initiate and implement strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiencies as we digitize our global supply chain. The role balances a variety of strategic, programmatic and operational responsibilities in support of the broader organization. The scope will include integration across every link within the RA supply chain: Digital Business, Customer Care, Logistics, Materials and Procurement. The team also works closely with both the GSC Platform Enablement team and RA's internal I.T. department to ensure our key business model capabilities are aligned as we create the blueprint which defines the future operating model of our supply chain in order to create competitive agility. The scope of the position has a global impact and will drive improvements in total cost of operations, working capital, distribution activities, process optimization, and other capabilities and technologies identified as part of the Connected Supply Chain program. As an individual contributor, you will lead cross functional / global project teams across the supply chain as we pilot or conduct proof of concept initiatives. The candidate should possess persuasive and outstanding communication skills and be effective in working across functional boundaries. Major Responsibilities
Define, document and facilitate deployment of new business processes and technological innovations.
Consult and be a Supply Chain representative on teams responsible for major company initiatives, projects or acquisitions.
Apply an advanced knowledge of supply chain management and draw upon substantial end-to-end business process experience, external benchmarking, and market intelligence to identify and/or solve highly complex business problems.
Increase the productive capacity of the working groups by initiating new ideas, processes and systems.
Work with key supply chain stakeholders to provide strategic input into the Technology Roadmap, ensuring supply chain needs are pro-actively identified and funded.
Be fluent in various information systems in terms of functionality being used. Work closely with IT functions and the Process Optimization organizations to suggest maintenance and enhancements to business systems to improve our ability to comply with next generation supply chain objectives and improve responsiveness to customer requirements.
Maintains an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics and the broader marketplace
Responsible for overall project progress reporting. Actively manages project timelines; communicates with team members and other stakeholders to ensure timely development of reports
Partner with the GSC Platform Enablement team (Product Owners) to stay aligned on technological portfolio health, capability gaps and roadmaps
