Production Scheduling Coordinator – Brighton, CO (1900918)
Coordinates and distributes the work activities and/or production efforts of the production group. The Production Coordinator will conduct daily production and shipping scheduling, be a primary contact and perform clerical/administrative duties within designated areas of responsibility. In addition, the Production Coordinator will fill in as a Production Planner when requested and/or the business necessitates.
Your responsibilities would also include:
Coordinates work flow and production efforts of designated group.
Responsible for raw material procurement. (Notifications of BOM (Bill of material) for corrections to be done for process orders Material management issues such as BOM corrections and costing issues in relations to process order
Manage the development of the production plan by collaborating with Supply Chain demanding teams. Manage site production process document control of all scheduled process orders to ensure production time, cost, variant, reword documentation are accounted for.
Back up to Production Planner for Production Scheduling needs. Schedule Sales Orders, Work Orders utilizing advanced planning tools and resources, established Lead-Times, MRP, Production Orders & master data create and maintenance of process orders in SAP and production
Analyze and report process order variances of raw/packaging materials and data inputs.
Collaborate with Site Logistics Team to ensure raw material needs are communicated in accordance with material specific lead times by inputting process orders for raw material mixes and pre-mixes, along with correction of BOM for accuracy in inventory.
Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9000, RC 14000 and other ISO regulations, procedures and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.
You will solve simple math problems, +, -, x, /, to accurately record chemical additions, lot numbers, must be comfortable able to work on his/her own and be able to analyze technical issues/terms in SAP, Strong communication skills.
20 to 40 percent interfacing with production and being out on the floor (updating board schedule, material error checks etc.)
May occasionally back up Admin Asst. with security checks/phones etc.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For In You...
High School Diploma required.
3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
1 year of manufacturing SAP experience required
Associates Degree preferred.
Microsoft Excel experience
