Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to schedule the delivery of feedstocks and finished goods to PAR and Sun terminals on behalf of BTP. You will effectively interface with the joint venture owners, PIMS and logistics groups, TOTAL FTZ group, and TOTAL, in support the BASF strategic plan.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education (Engineering or other Technical discipline preferred) and relevant work experience, you will c reate the Material Balance for the Cracker side of the BTP.
As a self-starter and self-motivated contributor, you will support knowledge capture and transfer and encourage active participation with internal and external networks to ensure maximum learning through replication of best practices.
Your ability to identify non-routine events, determine alternatives, and recommend a course of action to your supervisor will be a valued asset as you seek solutions to discrepancies within the Cracker Mass Billing Balance via communications with the Unit Operations Engineer, examination of the process logs, viewing Exceed, trending flows in Process Explorer, and by searching any additional back-up information.
Utilizing your technical knowledge of the operations of BTP combined with your strong PC Computer skills (database, spreadsheets, Aspen Suite of products and SAP), you will p rovide efficient and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of the BTP inventory. Additionally, you will communicate with PAR, Sun and Enterprise to address any issues.
Using your understanding of logistics systems operated by BASF or 3 rd party logistics systems, you will accurately support and interact with the business controlling and invoicing functions in the 3 times / month billing cycle of all feeds and products of BTP.
Successfully handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, you will manage inspection documentation of naphtha and condensate sales and purchases and manage tickets for sales and purchases of butane and NGL to comply with auditing.
Successfully engaging across the site, you will participate and communicate with production planning and scheduling.
