The Health & Safety Project Leader will be part of the corporate safety team, and will collaborate with both the field safety team and the operational team to help achieve our goal of becoming a company with world class safety management processes and performance. This individual will help us achieve this goal through the design, delivery and analysis of timely and accurate safety performance metrics.
Generate, distribute, and analyze various safety performance reports, both routine and ad hoc
Proactively analyze overall safety performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement
Identify and manage the implementation and execution of improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement
Other projects and tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Bachelor's Degree required
A minimum of 3 years analytical experience required
The ability to design, develop, communicate, and implement process improvement plans required
Effective written and verbal oral communication skills required
Capable of working in cross-functional teams as both a leader and team member
Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) required
Expert knowledge with data analytical tools (i.e. Microsoft Excel and Access)
Analytical and problem solving skills required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
