We are seeking a professional like you to join our Charlotte, NC, team. As a member of the North America Supply Chain Strategy & Projects team, you will support the overall success of the Dispersions & Resins business in North America. Your role as Supply Chain Optimization Lead is to serve as a business expert to drive innovation and connectivity in the pursuit of supply chain planning and execution excellence.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your proven track record in developing business processes that have a holistic end to end supply chain approach with the goal of harmonization that drives supply chain effectiveness. You will share best practices and knowledge transfers within the organization, both regionally and globally. Additionally, you will support all supply chain digitization initiatives with the goal of connecting people, processes and technology that aligns with supply chain strategies.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and/or Operations, you will support supply chain optimization efforts that impact profitable growth and improved customer experience.
Your robust knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools will serve you well as you lead supply chain continuous improvement projects from raw material planning to the order to cash process.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will participate in cross functional projects that support BU specific or company led initiatives.
Demonstrating your experience as an influential leader, you will help to shape and drive supply chain training and onboarding efforts. Your expertise and experience in this area will serve you well as you mentor and coach team members on end to end supply chain planning excellence and order to cash best practices.
Your strong communication skills and ability to build strong collaborative partnerships across the organization will be a valued asset as you deliver proactive communication to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate in engagements with strategic customers to support sustainable collaboration efforts.
Utilizing your supply chain systems knowledge, you will serve as a key power user for all supply chain planning and ERP systems (SAP, RapidResponse, JDA, Oracle, etc.).
Your proven analytical experience in big data and driven business results through data analytics will be vital to improve customer experience and create robust inventory strategies.
