Division/College: University Health and Counseling
FT/PT: Full Time
The Human Performance Coach will be responsible for implementing supply-chain logistic solutions that support the delivery of developmental initiatives both globally and on an individual basis for student-athletes. The objective is to manage advanced service offerings that can be recommended by sports performance personnel, self-selected by the individual, or applied by a coach as part of a team-training plan. This will provide a consistent, cost-effective process for utilizing available resources while also creating behavioral metrics that emphasize commitment to our developmental model rather than simply motivating behaviors through potential future outcomes. Advanced service offerings will be made available as part of the monthly planning meetings with coaching staffs and can be used to augment global team or individual plans. A primary objective of these advanced services will be to reinforce best practices set forth by the Student Affairs' Resiliency committee and NCAA regarding recommendations towards advanced notice regarding scheduling, clear expectations, and policy and procedures that result in synergistic implementation of initiatives that provide credibility to recommendations through endorsed messages.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or a related field; one year related work experience, preferably in a collegiate setting; NSCA certification preferred; familiarity with use of weight/strength equipment; advanced speed, strength, and conditioning skills, strong interpersonal skills; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
