Adjunct Faculty –Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
Point University seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants to apply for this position. The specific courses involved may vary from term to term and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The major duties will be to teach and assess curriculum that are common to undergraduate and graduate business classes in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Examples of courses or content may include Operations Management, Principles of Logistics, Transportation Principles, International Logistics, Introduction to Project Management (PMP required), Quality Management, Procurement, Principles & Management and Supply Chain Management.

Doctorate Preferred however, we will review candidates with a Master's Degree in discipline.

Terminal Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or in a closely related field (Project Management is acceptable or Manufacturing Field).
Terminal Degree in Business, (preferred 18 credit hours in either Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or in a closely related field (Project Management is acceptable or Manufacturing Field).
Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Logistics or in a closely related field (Project Management is acceptable or Manufacturing Field).
Master’s degree in Business with appropriate certificates in Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain or in a closely related field (Project Management is acceptable or Manufacturing Field).
Knowledge & Skills: APICS, CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, LSSBB or ISM
Experience in: Inventory/Production Control
Previous experience developing and teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level is highly preferable. Relevant work experience and knowledge in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics is desirable. Preference will be given to individuals with at least five years of teaching experience in these areas:
Ability to teach; college-level experience in adult learners preferred
Ability to teach in distance delivery modes, such as online courses; experience preferred
Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor
