Victor12 is seeking a Healthcare Supply Chain Management (SCM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Veterans Administration Acquisition Academy (VAAA) customer in reviewing and contributing content for curriculum at the VAAA. This position is 'remote' / 'work from home' - with the ability to travel to client site as needed (Frederick, MD). The courses are designed to educate the Veterans Affairs’ logistics workforce on the basics of effective inventory management, supply chain management systems, logistics lifecycles, and QA. Course titles include:
Principles of Inventory Management* (ILT)
Introduction to Materials, Management, and Operations (ILT)
Introduction to Business Skills (Virtual ILT)
Intermediate Business Skills (Virtual ILT)
Advanced Business Skills (Virtual ILT)
Intermediate Supply Chain Management Systems (ILT)
Material Management and Operations (face to face, instructor-led)
Advanced Supply Chain Management Systems & VA Strategic Programs (Virtual ILT)
MA/MS degree or BA/BS degree with Certification in Project Management Body of Knowledge and 4 years of relevant experience
Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall have (at minimum) a nationally/globally recognized certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Medical Logistics approved by the government. Acceptable certifications include (but not limited to):
American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS),
Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals
Essentials of Healthcare Supply Chain Certification- AHRMM
Expert in a specialized subject matter (SME) Supply Chain Management in Healthcare Environment. Provides highly technical specialized guidance regarding area of expertise. The SME must exhibit unique knowledge and skills including, but not limited to, curricula analysis, design, and delivery; integrated product team support; review and analysis of post-course after action reports, surveys, and evaluations for gaps and areas of improvement; and generation of recommendations to close identified gaps/areas; conduct of simulation-based process training and evaluation.
Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently
Ability to pass a background check.
Prior Department of Veteran Affairs Healthcare Experience
