POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Center for Transportation & Logistics , to focus on research in the following areas: emerging markets, energy efficient supply chains, supply chain strategy, supply chain security, and freight transportation. Will be responsible for conducting independent research, assisting and taking leadership in writing manuscripts, meeting with project sponsors, and assisting the senior research staff in all matters related to the project. Will also be expected to support educational activities and publish in top international journals.
REQUIRED : a Ph.D. in supply chain management, transportation, logistics, operations management, information systems, engineering, economics, business, or a related discipline. Must have in-depth knowledge of one of the following research areas: emerging markets, energy efficient supply chains, supply chain strategy, supply chain security, or freight transportation. Evidence of the ability to develop and deliver lectures and class material at the graduate level (both masters and doctoral) is required. Familiarity with statistical and discrete-event simulation software preferred. Preference will be given to those with both methodological and practical work experience.
