Logistics Manager (1805085) – Brighton, CO
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to support the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain logistics processes by strategically planning and managing the Brighton site warehouse shipping and receiving, inventory demand and material supply while being customer focused.
We will rely on you to monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of raw materials, packaging, and final products while understanding Brighton production schedules, liaising with BASF suppliers of raw materials to optimize and strategically manage Brighton raw material planning, lead times, and shipping conditions during transport to meet Brighton production needs.

Leveraging your education and leadership experience in supply chain management and inventory control in a high-volume manufacturing environment, you will ensure the implementation and maintenance of timely, efficient and cost-effective solutions while working cross-departmentally i.e., Production, Scheduling and others to ensure customer needs are always met.
Your strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistics concepts is essential as you will analyze and interpret data to monitor performance and develop business improvement plans in support of business objectives.
Your commitment to compliance will be vital as you manage waste materials for storage and disposal according to all local, state and federal regulations.
Your strong customer focus will be a valued asset as you support business development by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
Utilizing your leadership experience and ability to work in a high visibility, high demand position, you will allocate and manage staff resources according to changing business needs.
Your keen attention to detail will be a valued asset as you manage materials with regards to obsolescence, and rework to improve efficiencies and waste reduction and pursue appropriate disposition of returned, damaged, aged and off-spec inventory.
Your proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite will be essential as you manage and control the order cycle and associated information systems i.e., SAP utilizing MRP.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers as appropriate.
