Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Procurement, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field, you will support the development of supply strategies for two global categories (Lab Equipment and Process Analyzers) for the North American region.
Your experience working in cross-functional teams will be key as you work closely with the business unit and the Procurement network to develop and implement sourcing strategies for products related to this portfolio.
As a subject matter expert, you will lead and manage sourcing process (RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.) for key strategic contracts and highly complex negotiations to ensure the most competitive supply advantage for BASF.
Successfully engaging outside the organization, you will establish and maintain professional relationships with current and potential key suppliers. This will include monitoring performance metrics, resolving claims and/or disputes, market intelligence, and other contributing factors affecting supply availability and pricing of products procured.
Your strong business acumen will be a valued asset as you conduct market intelligence research by interacting with key suppliers, industry associations, and internal stakeholders to collect industry-relevant information to assess current and future impact to BASF. In addition, you will support purchase order creation and processing as needed.
