APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR A FACULTY POSITION IN
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
We invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the assistant to associate professor level to begin September 2019. The search is broad, with a preference for candidates in the areas of operations and logistics, including service operations management, supply chain management and sharing economy; computational social science and networks; and computational methods in operations research, including machine learning. Applicants should hold an earned Ph.D. or be near completion of their doctoral studies with demonstrated research potential in industrial engineering, operations research or management science. A commitment to rigorous and relevant research is essential.
The Department of Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences offers an undergraduate program, a Ph.D. program, a full-time master’s degree in analytics and a part-time master’s degree in engineering management. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are consistently ranked among the top ten by US News & World Report.
