A Non-Conformance is any event along our supply chain in which performance did not meet expectations – either that of our customer or internally. We manage our Non-Conformances through a globally harmonized process, the right people and integrated tools:
§ To improve and increase Customer Satisfaction by suitable handling of all Customer complaints
§ To improve internal performance and reduce the costs of poor quality
§ To improve the evaluation of our external partners (suppliers and service providers)
§ To provide global, consistent and harmonized process and system within BASF Group
BASF's Nutrition and Health business strives to meet these objectives by:
§ Improving communication with our Customers regarding complaints
§ Increasing transparency regarding all quality deviations
§ Identifying true root causes
§ Defining and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions
We are seeking a professional like you to actively promote, coordinate and improve the Non-Conformance Management (NCM) process within your own area. You will be the primary contact for SAP/QM NCM and increase the quality and quantity of registered Non-Conformances in the SAP/QM NCM systems. Additionally, you will support, train and educate users in the NCM process and conduct NCM analysis on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in business and business processes, you will take a lead role in the SAP/QM NCM system by providing support to all levels of personnel Regionally and Globally for Nutrition & Health Business.
Your robust analytical experience will be essential as you will provide accurate and relevant statistical information and report NCM Best Practice Examples to your Business Unit/ Business Centre/ Logistics department/ Production Plant and NCM Team. Additionally, you will identify and track repetitive NCM's and report them to Site Quality Coordinator for subsequent CAPA creation and follow-up.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant colleagues in relation to SAP/QM NCM, including contact with local IT support and FS, other NCM Coordinators, and NCM team members.
Your focus on efficiency and attention to detail are critical as you will ensure that all Non-Conformances, both product and logistics related, are processed as quickly and accurately as possible.
Communicating effectively within the business, you will hold regular meetings with all relevant parties to establish their requirements based on SAP/QM NCM and analysis of Non-Conformances (discussing individual non-conformances, determine patterns/trends, and agree on actions and targets moving forward).
Your thorough knowledge of SAP/QM NCM will be a valued asset as you will formalize all training procedures in relation to SAP/QM NCM and act as the core trainer.
Utilizing your IT literacy and organizational skills, you will ensure that all SAP/QM NCM user administration is kept fully up-to-date and function as a liaison/contact point between Users and the IT department on technical matters relating to SAP/QM NCM.
Working independently, you will review and track return orders in the system and notify the correct plant/individual of their return and follow up to ensure returns are received into inventory through SAP.
