Demand Planner (1803852) – Southfield, MI
Where the Chemistry Happens
The Demand Planner is directly responsible for driving and continuously improving the demand planning processes for the Automotive Business within the region North America, especially for coordinating and validating OEM and Tier customer forecasts. This core responsibility is further extended by developing and leading the regional integrated Sales and Operational Planning process for this business unit. This function is a strategic interface between multiple business functions and the entire supply chain organization for ECN.
The successful candidate will have a desire to operate in a high paced environment where cross functional interaction is an integral component of its responsibilities. Self-driven individuals are preferred to cultivate/influence partners within the coatings business. The position reports to the Supply Chain Planner Manager for North America.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, you will own and drive the demand planning process for the automotive business unit. This includes managing the forecasting process in close collaboration with on-site employees at customer locations and driving the demand validation process.
Your thorough understanding of the Sales and Operational Planning concept will allow you to facilitate demand and supply validation meetings, Executive S&OP meetings and ensure a cross functional and integrated planning process.
Utilizing your operational experience in SAP & APO DP, especially in the modules DP, MM, and PP, you will measure and track performance KPIs to improve business health.
Your APICS CPIM or equivalent Supply Chain qualification will demonstrate your expertise in supply chain management and will help you to lead continuous improvement projects for the region.
