Position Overview :
The new faculty member is expected to be actively involved in research, closely interface with industry, teach undergraduate, and graduate level courses (up to 15 credits a year), and supervise undergraduates and graduate students in Supply Chain Management. Candidates with academic experience and strong publication records in areas such as Logistics, Distribution and Order fulfillment, Digital Supply Chains, Technology in Supply Chains, Sourcing, Procurement, and Blockchain, using empirical approaches are particularly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach in the graduate and undergraduate OSCM programs
Conduct high quality research in discipline
Interface with students for advising and mentoring
Interface with industry and the Center for Supply Chain Management to promote and support the OSCM programs
Contribute to the college and university through meaningful service engagements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Earned doctorate or a terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high quality research.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
Evidence of high quality and impactful research.
Evidence of industry and external engagement
