Serves as one of the Procurement Managers responsible for ensuring that teams possess the required knowledge, skills and abilities in order to increase the effectiveness and best use of the available procurement staff resources. Performs management analysis to ensure that Procurement’s organizational goals are met. Assists Procurement team members in the execution of their individual training plans.
This position supervises and mentors the Procurement services teams to enable them to effectively complete all team assigned tasks and projects in an effective and efficient manner. Employee is responsible for planning, budgeting, training, coaching and evaluating overall Division performance for all activities related to the acquisition of materials, supplies, and services for user organizations. This position is tasked with delegated authority to interpret issues according to procurement policies, procedures and regulations. Employee has the primary responsibility for providing feedback to teams to maximize team performance, production, and effectiveness and reporting status to the Division Manager. The incumbent has substantial contracting authority and makes all Procurement Services team decisions on procurement within this delegation of authority. Performs management analysis to ensure that procurement organizational goals are met. Incumbent receives general policy direction from the Procurement Division Manager.
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Information Technology, Public Administration or a related field; * 7 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement.

* 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or Project Management, including 2 years of contract administration experience.
