Position requires a professional who has strong abilities to build relationships, effectively communicate at all levels, work in a collaborative manner, manage competing priorities and influence others while working in a dynamic and fast paced business environment. And while doing so, deliver on objectives of maximizing cost savings and meeting commitments. This position will:
Work in conjunction with Corporate Supply Chain leadership, Business Unit leadership, Initiative and / or Commodity Team Leaders, to expedite implementation and maximization of savings attainment.
Lead and coordinate activities to ensure the implementation, compliance, and ongoing savings from shared contracts and strategic sourcing events initiated through the Corporate Supply Chain Team and related activities. This is done through data analytics, contract administration, tracking and reporting participation, compliance, and savings.
Management of data, maintenance of the spend data cube, including the calculation and reporting of cost savings performance against objective
Promoting new technology to leverage the buying power of One Curtiss-Wright
Mining the data for spend events and corporate contract opportunities
Validation of opportunities presented to the team
Creation of a business case for opportunities that require investment
Leads, initiates, negotiates, implements, coordinates and optimizes shared contracts through coordination of efforts in conjunction with Category Teams.
Ensures compliance to agreements
Acts as communications hub with Business Unit personnel regarding cost savings calculations' and reporting.
Interfaces with shared contract administrators and other Business Unit personnel
Compiles and provides reports for shared contracts cost savings
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with shared contract suppliers
Ensures that new CW acquisitions understand and actively participate in shared contracts.
Assists the Supply Chain Leadership Sponsor and Team Lead in implementing the vision and mission of the Supply Chain Leadership initiative.
Responsible for measuring the performance of the agreements
Responsible for identifying contract leakage and identifying the contract weaknesses
Stake in delivering the overall project goals & objectives (timing, savings, effectiveness, etc...)
Maintain executive Supply Chain dashboards
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to proactively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
Contract negotiation experience
Interpersonal, influencing and organizational savvy
Organizational / Planning skills
Results driven project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Manage competing priorities
Agility in changing priorities
Analytical skills including data validation and predictive analytics
20-30% travel expected
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field
Minimum of 4 years of Supply Chain / Logistics / Contracts / Analyst experience
CPSM or APICS Certification a plus
