Plan logistics for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack™ events with event hosts and FMSC staff.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits:
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday during daytime business hours. Approximately 3-4 expenses-paid domestic trips required per year.

What You’ll Do:
Plan logistics for MobilePack™ events with event hosts according to specified timelines and procedures: approve event packing site, plan layout of space, develop volunteer shift schedules, etc. Follow up via email and phone with event hosts to ensure planning deadlines are met, troubleshoot issues and answer questions.
Arrange staff accommodations and travel to and from events.
Maintain complete event records.
Partner with Development staff to exchange event information, and ensure effective relationship development and communication with event hosts.
Set up and maintain volunteer registration webpages for each event, train event hosts on online system use and respond to user questions.
Work with supply chain department to coordinate trucking logistics for supplies and raw ingredients/finished product to and from events.
Arrange rental contracts for event supplies, e.g. handwashing sinks. Identify vendors and negotiate pricing.
Collaborate with other event planners and staff to improve processes and procedures and solve problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Commitment to support and promote FMSC’s Christian mission and goals.
Minimum of associate’s degree and 2 years of experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office. Able to quickly learn and train others on web-based programs, e.g. web conferencing, travel booking sites, etc. Database experience desired.
Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy and follow-up. Able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, phone customer service and written communication skills. Able to respectfully and professionally communicate and be assertive with internal and external contacts.
Able to be a self-starter, work both autonomously and collaboratively, follow processes and procedures, and exercise sound judgment and decision-making.
Work location is Aurora, IL. Reports to Mobile Manufacturing Manager.
