Altitude Marketing is looking for a content producer that’s insatiably curious, self-driven, skilled at creating an array of well-written content types and committed to helping clients achieve their business goals. Our ideal candidate will quickly research often complex topics to create intelligent copy that elicits action. Types of content may include – but not limited to -- SEO-ready blogs; white papers and guides; case studies; ad copy; print collateral; website copy; social media posts and more. While processes are expected to be followed, you’ll also be required to exhibit a high degree of flexibility, stay on task and work within tight timelines, creating multiple pieces of content per day often across a variety of clients. You’ll thrive in an environment where the best-laid plans may change at a moment’s notice, have a sense of urgency, be driven by facts and exhibit impeccable follow-through skills. Most importantly, you’ll continually be thinking practically how best to deliver content that meets the needs of our B2B clients.The content producer works closely across all teams within Altitude to craft targeted content for our B2B clients on anything from software development to supply chain logistics to health care solutions. Candidates must be:•Clear and concise writers/journalists•Curious and interested in continuous learning•Flexible•Efficient at researching and digesting a wide variety of topics and creating content based on that research, often with a same-day turn-around time•Impeccable communicators, able to distill complex concepts into straightforward and compelling narratives or clips•Good interviewers, able to draw out details from clients, customers and others to get to the seed of a story•Independently driven and professional•Adept or interested in writing for technology, medical, manufacturing, financial, legal or other B2B industriesKey Duties and Responsibilities•Write and repurpose short- and long-form content for blog posts, webpages, print collateral, thought leadership, white papers, premium assets and other outlets as needed.•Write/edit social media posts across a variety of channels.•Interview clients to gather details related to a particular topic, an industry, or to understand their particular differentiators in the marketplace.•Ensure all client communications conform to established brand styles.•Assist with web page buildout, making smart use of typography and best practices.•Review produced content on a regular basis to ensure it performs well, meeting and exceeding client goals/expectations.•Interface directly with a variety of clients and their internal experts and lead calls, interviews.Education and Experience•Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.•Ideal for candidates will have 2-5 years of experience.•The adaptability to write in a variety of styles, tones and voices.•A basic understanding of SEO is a plus.•Experience working on tight, daily deadlines. •Experience producing both long- and short-form content.Key Competencies•Clear and concise writing and editing skills with a natural sense of curiosity. •Proficient use of Microsoft Word. Previous exposure to the WordPress CMS, email marketing platforms and marketing automation platforms is a plus.•Ability to handle multiple project deadlines at once in a high-pressure environment and the flexibility to adapt when necessary.•Must be collaborative but also be able to work independently.•Must have sense of urgency to meet deadlines and shift priorities when necessary. •Must be self-motivated and have good time management skills to meet project deadlines and schedules.•Must be able to work in a team setting and support multiple team members and projects.
