This position is responsible for:
Planning, organizing and supervising the daily operations for the receipt, storage, handling and distribution of supplies, equipment, mail and/or linen throughout the hospital.
Reporting into the Manager of Distribution and Logistics in Supply Chain Operations, the Materials Management Supervisor as part of a team of 60 FTEs will provide support to the hospital's clinical and non-clinical teams.
Overseeing up to 20 FTEs in the daily workflow to ensure targets are met and policies are adhered to.
Providing excellent customer service to a wide range of customers,
Performing and troubleshooting complex issues.
To qualify you must have:
A high school level of educational development and two to three years experience.
The analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
Excellent communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or welldeveloped writing skills.
