Support the implementation and adoption of standardized key performance indicators related to surgical supply chain
Advise and collaborate with operating unit leaders
Work with physicians and perioperative executives to negotiate optimum value throughout the MedStar system
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s in business administration, health administration, supply chain/logistics management, or nursing preferred)
Ten years of progressively expanding experience in logistics/supply chain operations management preferably in health care operating room environment
Advanced project management skills
Experience with process improvement techniques such as six sigma and LEAN
Supply chain management experience in a highly complex surgical enterprise
Experience with budgeting, reporting and reconciling budgetary accounts
