Where the Chemistry Happens...
The Performance Chemicals North America Supply Chain Organization is currently looking for a Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Project Leader. This person will support the end-to-end supply chain to improve business performance using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and will work across sites, functions, and difference operational divisions.
Lead improvement projects focusing on defect reduction or waste elimination in demand, supply, inventory planning, and logistics to achieve working capital reduction while increasing delivery reliability.
Manage and lead improvement teams across multiple sites, business segments, and/or functions comprising the end-to-end supply chain.
Use different continuous improvement methodologies to identify and address demand and supply planning improvements relative to plan, buy, make, deliver, and order-to-cash cycle time.
Ensure responsibilities and controls are in place to sustain improvements.
Identify business improvement opportunities by analyzing data, gathering voice of customer information, and defining the problem as an executable improvement project.
Apply Lean tools including value stream mapping, DILO, and brainstorming to identify waste and organization of Kaizen improvement teams.
Draft charters for improvement projects as needed.
Develop capability, buy-in, and support for the continuous improvement culture within the organization.
Promote discipline using data for decisions and application of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to implement change throughout the organization.
