The Graham School of Business is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Operations Management beginning in August 2018. The Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Operations Management will be responsible for teaching a variety of both introductory and upper-level Supply Chain, Operations, and Statistics courses, with the potential for also offering graduate classes in our MBA program. Depending on the individual's interests and experience, additional courses in Decision Sciences will be available. The Decision Sciences group offers courses in operations management, logistics, purchasing, optimization, supply chain management, Lean, quality management, continuous improvement, statistics, econometrics, computer information systems, networking and business analytics.
The successful candidate will have both expertise in teaching and demonstrable potential scholarly activity, as well as service to our college community. The successful applicant will have the demonstrable ability to teach a variety of both introductory and upper-level Supply Chain, Operations, and Statistics courses, with the potential for also offering graduate classes in our MBA program. Relevant business or consulting experience is also desirable. Candidates must have a PhD, or international equivalent from an accredited university in Supply Chain Management or a closely related discipline by the start of the initial contract period.
