As the Global Sourcing Leader for Global Technology, we need an innovative change agent who is focused on strategic sourcing, cost savings, efficiencies of scale, risk management and delivery across all technology spend categories.
This role could be performed from either London, U.K., or Stamford, CT, U.S.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
Analysis of spend and a detailed understanding of technology services market(s); develop and implement sourcing strategies which support the business strategies and leverage the spend
Develops category strategies and implement corresponding strategic sourcing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiencies
Develop and manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of commercial contracts, contract performance and service delivery
Identify and communicate best practices and develop benchmarks that compare internal performance to industry best practice
Practice and lead by example the use of efficient, ethical procurement processes & procedures.
Educate stakeholders in relevant sourcing and contract management skills and techniques; ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards and guidelines.
Lead supplier selection processes in alignment with stakeholder requirements
Negotiates favorable terms and long-term outsourcing agreements with suppliers in an effort to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Lead a team of 5-8 FTE and participate in cross-functional teams in sourcing and general initiatives as well as pro-actively supporting other team members in their tasks and activities
Continuous learning and development in procurement knowledge and methodologies driving innovation and continuous improvement
You will report to SVP, Global Head of Sourcing and Procurement with a dual reporting line to the Head of Change Controls and Sourcing (Global Technology)

Broad Geography & Spend Category Experience: experience working across the globe (preferably strong experience in the U.S., U.K., and India) with expertise across various spend categories (IT Infrastructure, Application Development & Maintenance Software, etc.).
