From the Apollo missions to exploring Pluto, we have a long history of accomplishments. We are seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner to join our team in Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles area).
In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient release and management of purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders of engine components to support engine assembly and on time delivery. Responsibilities include the following:
Plan, create, and maintain manufacturing schedules according to the Production Plan.
MRP System analysis, inventory, and Item Master accuracy.
Release of MBOM requirements.
Processing inventory transfers, non-standard job closure, and tool order release.
This position will work directly with Master Scheduling, Operation Integrators, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Buyers on a daily basis. This position will also be required to communicate program delivery concerns to both internal and external customers.
Requires a Bachelor's in Business Management/Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other Technical Degree and 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
Strong knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
Must be proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good problem solving ability, and strong interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Must be able to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.
Operations, Procurement, Scheduling and Engineering Value Stream experience.
