PERSONNEL COORDINATOR, Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL)/Supply Chain Management (SCM), to coordinate human resource activities for CTL and SCM and serve as a member of CTL's headquarters team. Responsibilities will include interpreting and providing advice regarding HR issues, policies, and procedures; advising hiring managers on advertising, posting, interviewing, and reference checking; scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and preparing interview and offer documentation; partnering with managers to create/revise job descriptions; onboarding new employees/visitors and conducting exit interviews for terminating employees; processing all HR transactions/forms; ensuring HR activities, records, and forms comply with applicable laws/guidelines; coordinating performance management and annual salary review processes; providing guidance to managers and employees on employee relations and interpersonal issues; serving as liaison to the International Scholars and International Students offices, processing visa paperwork, providing guidance regarding visa acquisitions and timelines, and maintaining tracking spreadsheets; rewards and recognition program and events administration; assisting with developing and implementing programs/processes that promote a diverse and inclusive workforce; handling disability and leave requests; monitoring vacation and sick leave reports; collaborating on development of strategic HR plans; and performing other duties/special projects as requested.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; minimum of two years' relevant experience; discretion with confidential material/information; proven ability to multitask in a busy environment; meticulous attention to detail; strong presentation, administrative, organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative, work independently and as part of a team, and own and follow through on tasks; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
