Functions/Duties of Position
The Clinical Value Analysis Manager is responsible for facilitating the system wide value analysis process with the goal of providing high quality, safe, patient-centered and cost effective products, services and technology. This position is responsible for a multi-million dollar annual savings goal that that is created every year. This process requires the establishment and adherence to a streamlined method for standardizing and monitoring products, services and technology selection, utilization and costs. The Clinical Value Analysis Manager will provide clinical and strategic expertise that facilitates supply expense management while continuously improving quality, safety and satisfaction, through clinical engagement. The Clinical Value Analysis Manager will serve as a facilitator and educator of the Value Analysis process. This individual works strategically and tactically to identify, analyze, decide and implement best practices and expense management initiatives. This position will lead and collaborate with Managers, Directors, and Senior Administration and Physician leadership in identifying and implementing cost reduction, evaluation, standardization and process improvement initiatives.
