Where the Chemistry Happens...
The primary role of the position is to support the implementation of the NA2025 Strategy Objectives for the Customer Focused Operational Excellence Action Field. The candidate will be responsible for the concept, design, development, and implementation of end to end process improvements for our customer facing processes. The position will interface with all functions, example: Supply Chain Design Global Team, Logistics Procurement, GS Functions and the Business Units. The scope of responsibility will include conducting process evaluations to identify quick wins and initiate projects.

Formula for Success: You Will...
Evaluate and improve end-to-end customer facing processes that cut across many parts of the BASF organization.
Follow the completion of the order to delivery process, and evaluate planning activities across the entire Integrated Sales & Operations Planning landscape (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning) will take place.
Identify and drive quick wins and projects within the identified business units and functions, plan for mid- to long-term fixes, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct regular process health checks with the business and proactively monitor process discipline via agreed Process Performance Indicators and Key Performance Indicators.
Develop continuous improvement plans with the business and form joint solution teams to deploy and sustainably implement such plans.
Drive planning competency and people capability improvements within the businesses through expert knowledge sharing, training, and coaching.
Lead and develop expert communities within the business.
Identify required changes to existing processes and systems. Facilitate the successful design, development and implementation of these solutions. Support the validation and testing of changes in IT solutions.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Science.
A minimum of 7 years of Supply Chain Management experience.
At least 3 years of experience in leading/managing projects.
Prior background in extracting data from various sources, analyzing results, and developing recommendations to Management/Business Units.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Experience in Operations and/or Transportation and/or Customer Service role within Business Unit or Corporate Function is preferred.
Experience working on cross-functional teams and interaction with contacts in different regions a plus.
Lean Six Sigma project experience a plus.
