In order to create a pool of qualified applicants, Columbia Basin College accepts applications for adjunct faculty to teach course offerings throughout the year. Applications are kept in the pool for a period of one (1) year.
Columbia Basin College offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach courses at both our Pasco and Richland campuses, campus extension locations, as well as online/remotely. Adjunct faculty typically provide instruction for traditional quarter long courses by teaching 11-week courses (Fall, Winter, Spring) or 8-week courses (Summer). There is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the quarter course assignment.
The Business Department is seeking applicants for Adjunct Faculty Business Instructors. The Adjunct Instructor will prepare and teach a variety of Business courses which includes the following:
BUS&101 Intro to Business or International Business or Logistics or Supply Chain
AMGT 310 Operations Management
AMGT 320 Leadership Organization Behavior
AMGT 340 Information Technology and Applications
AMGT 430 Fundamentals of Financial Management
The successful candidates will be flexible in their ability to achieve the instructional and general responsibilities of the course assignment including the use of a broad range of learning resources and technologies. Master's degree in Business or closely related field with 18 graduate credits in Business, Leadership, or Management;
College-level teaching experience; and
Must be available to teach afternoons or evenings.

Columbia Basin College (CBC) serves the citizens of Benton and Franklin counties in Washington state with two-year associate degrees for transfer to a four-year university, and applied degrees for workforce employment.
