Where the Chemistry Happens...
As a member of the N-EN Supply Chain Team, this position is responsible for converting demands (e.g., forecasts, customer orders) into replenishment orders/supply plans on BASF supply points. The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager, Planning.

Formula for Success: You Will...
Be responsible for replenishment of products using netted demand in support of customer service goals and inventory targets.
Manage relationships with other regions' Supply Chain and Logistics groups.
Hold end-to-end ownership of the order fulfillment process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (delivery reliability).
Work closely with Customer Care, EN SC operations and overseas supply points; monitor orders, stock status, and SAP exceptions, ensuring products are available to support customer requirements.
Hold responsibility for managing the SAP Allocation Tool and sales plan management
Identify, negotiate, and bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances by working with Marketing, Production, and Customer Care.
Analyze KPI trends to identify areas of opportunity and implement improvements where applicable.
Recommend and pursue appropriate disposition of returned, damaged, aged, and off-spec inventory.
Manage data in SAP Cobalt and APO SNP.
Actively support the S&OP planning process by organizing relevant data, updating KPI's and participating in monthly meetings.
Identify and execute opportunities to improve supply chain and operations efficiency.
Participate in Supply Chain or Business Projects as required

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of related business (e.g., Customer Care, Supply Chain, Operations) experience preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and APO, along with strong expertise in MS Excel, is a plus.
Strong customer focus.
Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of querying/database/spreadsheet applications.
Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts.
APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification preferred.
Travel up to 5%.
