Columbia University is seeking experienced Analysts – Procurement to join its Finance & Administration team.
Responsibilities include drafting requests for proposals, information, and other procurement-related documents; managing the RFP timeline and the distribution of proposals; ensuring compliance with University and CUFO policies; participating in vendor evaluation meetings; facilitating communications of awards; managing contract documents; and assisting with the processing of purchase orders and change orders. He/she will analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and propose corrective action to streamline and improve these processes.
Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required. A minimum of 2 to 4 years’ related experience required. The Analyst must also possess a general understanding of the capital construction process.
